This spectacular summer house was designed by architect Jaume Alomar along with LF91 Project Management, located in Cala Vinyes, in the southwestern part of Mallorca, Spain. The focus of the development of this property was the blurring of lines between indoors and out. Panoramic views of the landscape were perfectly integrated into a fresh, avant-garde and Mediterranean decor.
In order to undertake the reform of this property, the homeowners commissioned construction company EPIC Construccions to build their home. The initial approach was to unite two original structures to create one open house, full of light, and completely connected with the exterior. The dwelling features several terraces with panoramic views of the garden and infinity pool. The next step was to rearrange the interior layout.
Organic Studio was responsible for the interiors, creating a casual and fresh aesthetic. In addition to a spectacular double height living room with integrated kitchen and dining area, three bedrooms were created—two of which are en-suite, with a dressing room, work area and bathroom. There is also a second living room, which also serves as a guest room and opens out onto the pool area.

The architects also defined a neutral background, with noble and elegant materials such as natural stone and oak wood. After the renovation was complete, the designer infused personality into the spaces, through art work, custom furnishings and accessories. Contemporary designs were combined with color strokes and textures to achieve modern, warm and timeless interiors.
What We Love: The overall aesthetic of this lovely summer house is contemporary and trendy, the perfect dream vacation retreat. Designed with a fantastic indoor-outdoor connection, the dwelling was designed to take advantage of its privileged surroundings. A comfortable and casual layout promotes a restful ambiance that is ideal for a holiday home… Readers, would this home be your idea of the perfect vacation pad?
